Homework

Almost everyone turned in their homework this week!


Today students brought home their reading logs along with two pages to create a map of their house and a map of their room. Be sure to help them identify and label North, East, South and West.


Please have your student read or write for ten minutes each night and complete both of their maps.

Math- We are working on 2-D and 3-D shapes this week. We will also be working on using various shapes to create new shapes.


Reading/Social Studies- We will be continuing our Map Skills unit. We will continue to focus on directions and using both maps and globes.

We are also focusing on writing complete sentences and personal narratives.

Spring Weather

Remember our recess is at 10:30 and even on warm days it usually is still cold when we go out.

Please bring a jacket or coat each day.
