We recognized our Principals of the Year Donna W. and Julie D.! Thanks for all you do for our GREAT district- you're making a difference! (Jessica M.)
Employee Engagement Survey (Rizvan Q.)
Rizvan reviewed strengths and opportunities as it relates to K12 Insight Survey. Although there were some improvements, there were many opportunities that our team could address through our committees. It was noted that in the past, employees had opportunities to grow and this is something we could benefit from today. Rizvan reviewed the engagement drivers - shared values, leadership, communication, feedback/recognition, work environment, career growth/training opportunities - noting strengths and opportunities in each section. *Copies of the survey are available if you wish to see them.
Committee Reports
Culture Team (Alice L.)
Culture team shared a few of their ideas such as outdoor exercise area, volleyball court, campus recognition boards, and location of culture center(s). The team states that they would like to send out a survey prior to making any plans to get opinions from others before determining priorities.
To Do: Survey will be ready to send out this week or next week. A copy of survey questions will be shared with principals in case they want to tweak and share with their staff.
Apparel Committee (Jeanna S.)
The apparel committee met with district departments to get feedback on merchandise and brand. They will soon have a catalog from a vendor in which we can order Polo shirts. Jeanna states that they contacted Dr. Dupre to ask about wearing FBISD shirts with khaki pants to our Thursday meetings and he thought it was a good idea!
Social Media (Rizvan Q.)
Game changers will soon have our own Twitter Account! We will have the ability to submit pictures and shout out all the positive things going on in our district!! Exciting!
Social Hour (Pamela B.)
Our first social hour is gong to be on Thursday, March 10th at Cafe Adobe from 4:30-6:30! We plan to meet right after C2!
To Do: Pam will communicate and all leaders are encouraged to attend!
Games and Competitions (Yolanda Y.)
The purpose of this committee is to bring fun/excitement to C2 with a focus on collaborative culture.

- Scavenger Hunt to find out about various departments
- Set up Teams at next C2 on March 10th
- Divide groups into groups of 8 team members, create charts with team name to place in Annex.
- Game Changers will have 30 min. on the C2 agenda in March, April, and May
Game Changer Challenge: Sit at different tables to get to know others in our principal group and to help everyone feel welcome. The goal of Game Changers is that we're spreading positivity and cheer throughout the district and our Thursday meetings are a great way to share this message.
