See full schedule setup below!
Here’s how these sessions will work.
- The sessions are open format (Come & Go).
- Please join the session with the Zoom link listed above. You will need to join with your computer that has video so you can watch the trainers walk you through your “fix” for your scheduling issue.
- Once in the session: ask questions, receive advice and instruction, and then log-off.
- You do not need to be logged into the Open Lab session for the whole session. You can “join” the session at any time between the time of the session.
Example: You log in for Friday AM session that is offered from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. You join the session at 10:15 am. You are 3rd in line with a question. At 10:40 am the trainer responds to your question and walks you through the fix. You then log out of the session to work on your master schedule.
- Once your question is answered, you can log out of the session.
- You could even rejoin the session several times during the time allotted.
Please direct all questions and issues to Jocory Rush at 469-578-8072 / jorush@dallasisd.org.
Mental Health Services Referral
During this sheltering in place period, conducting a suicide risk assessment using the district’s assessment would be improper and impractical. The assessment instrument was validated using face-to-face interviewing techniques. Therefore, should a counselor be made aware of a student’s threat to harm themselves or someone else, they are to call and speak with the parent and inform them of their child’s state of mind. Once the parent has been informed, provide the parent the following options to respond to their child’s distress:
- Call 911 if in immediate danger
- Call Adapt Mobil Crisis a 24/7 crisis intervention service 866-260-8000
- Take their child to the nearest emergency room
