Library Book Fair
Tue., Nov. 4th - 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Wed., Nov. 5th 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
We look forward to seeing you at this year’s Annual Library Book Fair. This year’s Fair will feature publications from Scholastic and Pass the Word Books! Pass the Word Books is a Christian book supplier. There will be a wide variety of books available and some gift items. We invite your entire family to participate by purchasing the latest and greatest in children and student books. Did you know that for every $10 you spend at the Book Fair, up to $6 in product goes directly back to our school? Your support of this event is key to our obtaining new resources for our library and school.
We will provide you with the opportunity to donate a book to your child’s classroom library. Such books will enrich the education of children for years to come. We’ve asked teachers to fill out a Classroom Wish List so you’ll know which books they think will be most suited for their classroom. Christmas is fast approaching and you may want to consider a ‘teacher gift’ of a book(s) - they have enough mugs! Check out the Wish List for this purpose as well. Every gift will be recognized with a bookplate identifying your family or child as the donor. Please look for the Classroom Wish List display at the Book Fair. Your generosity can make a classroom library a great place for a new adventure. Also, enter our Family Event Draw to win $50 worth of books for your family and your child’s classroom.
Students in grades K to 8 will have had the opportunity to visit the book fair during a scheduled library class during the school day. Students may make purchases at this time or they can browse. Please be advised that no items will be held or purchased on ‘account’. All items must be paid for at time of purchase. We will accept cash, cheques, Visa/MasterCard.
Please note that students in Grade K – 8 may attend the Book Fair during the Parent/Teacher Interview evenings only if a parent or high school sibling accompanies them.
Auction Volunteers Needed!
We need well over 100 volunteers to make this evening a success. A volunteer list can be viewed here that has information on the jobs and shift times. Please call the Development Office if you can help by volunteering for part or all of the night. High school students can volunteer for certain jobs as well. Call Nina or Yvonne for more information. 306-775-0919 Ext 4. Our Parent Volunteer Committee will also be making phone calls and sending emails to school families to enlist help.
Auction Donations Needed!
We are looking for donations of cash and quality new items and services that we can put into our auction. Donations with a value over $300 earn a sponsorship and free tickets to the event. See the sponsorship information attached. For business owners, sponsorship is also a great way to advertise and promote your products and services. Perhaps you or someone you know would consider a diamond, platinum, gold or silver sponsorship?

NEW Kenmore Slide-in Range and Over-the-Range Microwave (White) FOR SALE
$1,000 for both OBO - we inherited these with our new house, but replaced them with stainless steel appliances to match the dishwasher and fridge. They are unused, and take up way to much space in our basement. Excellent for a cabin or a rental unit or just to replace older models! Looks like the stove alone retails for around $1,400 at Sears. Contact Jana at 306-352-0606 if interested.
