First Playoffs
In the 1930s the first game was in indoor chicago stadium. It was played inside because it was almost impossible to play outside because of the harsh weather. 11,198 people watched the game. The champion's were the new york giants.
The First Televised Game
"The now-essential relationship between pro football and television actually began on October 22, 1939. That’s when the National Broadcasting Company earned a spot in pro football history by becoming the first network to televise a pro football game" Only people in New York that own t.v could watch the game.
