Dear Parents/Guardians,
February has almost officially come and gone, but not without an exciting culminating two weeks at East Bradford. Although it is the shortest month on the year, it comes in the midst of one of more busy stretches of the year. And the snow........ We can't forget that white fluffy stuff! Just as we get in a few days, we have another snow storm! No worries, we have a few of the special events listed below that are sure to brighten your day.
What's Going On at EBE?
Fifth Grade Musical “Summer Camp”
Ms. Kraynie and her dedicated team have worked hard on this masterpiece for the last three months. After many early mornings and late nights they ready to let us all see them shine bright. In her second full year as director, Ms. Kraynie, once again did not disappoint. If you are looking for a great family event, look no further than East Bradford. The first day of production was flawless! I know many families were looking forward to attending tonight's canceled production but no worries, it has been reschedule to Monday, 3/4/19. It is sure to WOW you!
Kid's Heart Challenge
Thank you, Mr. Twaddle and all your helpers. This event is amazing every year, and this year was without exception. I actually witnessed a few 1st grade double dutchers! Thank you to the multitude of parents that both donated money and came out to support the event. As with most things that we do at East Bradford, your support was crucial in the success of this event. As the principal, I am most proud of our students’ passion for this event. After listening to them year after year, it is clear that most of their motivation stems from the gratitude they get from helping others in need.
Black History Museum
Great job, boys and girls! Your projects were extremely impressive. The amount of time that went into them was apparent to everyone in attendance. Thank you, Mr. Loper, for organizing this special event for our school. I would also like to send a special thanks to the parents who came to support the event.
As always, we thank our parents for your support, and the opportunity to share in your child’s educational experience.
Joyfully,
Christopher M. Alston, Ed.D.
