Below is important information related to the first days of school. Don't hesitate to call our office with any questions. In addition, helpful information for back to school can also be found on the Clarke Website.

This year we sent out student team, homeroom and locker information in August via the online parent and student portal in Aspen.
To ensure that you can access this information, you can log into your Aspen account(s). If students have forgotten their login and password information, please send an email with the student’s full name and grade level to studentportal@lexingtonma.org In addition, if you have forgotten how to log into your account, please contact parentportal@lexingtonma.org with the same information. Complete schedules will be distributed on the first day of school.
Team Welcome Letters can be found on our website. These letters will give you more information from the team including supplies that may be helpful for the start of school.

Tuesday, August 29 | The First Day of School for 6th Grade and New Students!
Arrival begins at 7:45 am Grade 6 students are dismissed at 1:00 pm Transportation and lunch will be up and running. New 7th and 8th graders orientation from 8:30 am - 10:00am (no transportation)
Wednesday, August 30 | The First FULL Day of School for All Students
Students are let into the building at 7:50 AM. Homeroom begins at 8:00AM. All students are dismissed at 2:50 p.m. Parents are invited to join the PTO for a Welcome Back Coffee at 8:45 a.m. in the cafeteria.
Thursday, August 31 | Full day of school
School begins at 8:00AM with dismissal at 2:50PM.
Friday, September 1 and Monday, September 4 | No School
School is CLOSED for the Labor Day Weekend
Tuesday, September 5 | Full Day of School for ALL Students
Thursday, September 7 | First PTO meeting
8:45AM in the Clarke Cafeteria
Monday, September 11 | School Picture Day
More info will be sent home with your child once school begins
Thursday, September 14 | Early Release Day
All middle school students are dismissed at 11:45AM
Tuesday, September 19 | New to Lexington Informational Evening

From the Nurse's Office
Nurses Motherway and Towle are looking forward to the new school year! Here are a few important reminders from them:
- Please let us know if your child has any health needs. We are here to help keep our students healthy and safe in school. Give us a call, stop into the office, or send an email if there is anything we can help with.
- 6th grade students must have a current physical form from their doctor on file in the school health office (within 13 months)
- All students playing a fall sport must have a current physical on file
- 7th grade students are required to have documentation of TDaP booster and a 2nd Varicella immunization
Clarke Staff in South Africa!
Thanks to these wonderful grants, Ms. Paddol will bring much of what she learned back to her classroom to share with her colleagues and students. While in South Africa, she blogged about her experiences. Read all about it here!
Information from the Clarke PTO
Become a member of the Clarke PTO for 2017 – 2018! The Clarke PTO supports the students, staff and parents at Clarke and depends on dues, two fundraisers and additional donations to fund their budget. All membership dues and contributions in excess of $5 are fully tax-deductible. Individual families will receive a link to update their student's information for the directory and join the PTO in the coming days.
