Please continue to keep your student(s) home if they are not feeling well. Mora Public Schools will continue to follow the MDH Decision tree. I also ask each and every family to stay home while pending test results. If anyone in the household has a COVID test pending, everyone should stay home until the results are back. Please reach out to me, Anne Grahn District Nurse and Covid-19 Coordinator for any questions. Thank you for your continued help during this pandemic.

As of Tuesday, September 29th, the Mora Public Library opened up the community room as a safe space for students to use our WiFi to complete their homework. For the time being, this space will only be available on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3:00-6:00 pm, but we are hopeful that we will expand those hours as the need arises.

The community room is located on the library’s lower level and is large enough to easily allow for social distancing for 20-25 students. It will be supervised by a library staff member and/or volunteer who has undergone ECRL’s background check procedures. Unfortunately, due to library COVID-19 policies, students will be limited to 1 hour in the library, but we are hopeful that even a limited time frame will still be helpful for students.

The USDA has extended a waiver to provide free meals to children age 18 and under through December 31, 2020, or until funding runs out; whichever comes first. This means all students attending Mora Public Schools (whether in-person, hybrid, or flex option) and those who request meals in the Mora community, can receive breakfast and lunch at no charge.
