Class Materials in Google Classroom
Tip for storing your most frequently used resources
Google Classroom Users:
Now you can add class materials (websites, videos, files, etc.) to your Google Classroom so students can easily access them. Until now, we have only posted class materials to the "stream" tab- the go to place for assignments. For those class materials students will access multiple times throughout the year, store them in the "About" tab under class details so students (and parents) know exactly where to find them.
Post Assignments on the "Stream"
Nothing changed here! Make sure assignments and announcements are posted to the stream.
Click the "About" tab
Here is where you post class materials (frequently used sites, files, or videos)
Inserting Class Materials
First add a class description in the About tab, then add materials by clicking the text at the bottom.
Not using Google Classroom yet?
Create a class just for kicks...
As you come across cool digital resources you'd like to use with your students, simply add them to your Classroom for easy access.
Use Google Classroom as a cloud-based storage system for your materials- no need using that hard drive space if you don't have to!
And if you feel ready... students LOVE using Google Classroom, try having them complete an assignment or activity online.
