Awards Assemblies
This Friday and next Tuesday, we will be holding our Fall Semester Awards Assemblies. Below are some details for our assembly schedule and procedures.
7th/8th Awards Assemblies on Friday, Jan 29th
Assembly schedule is located in the bulletin
1. We will have a single lunch that day
2. After lunch, all students will report to their block 7 classes.
3. 6th grade students will be in homeroom during 7th period. 7th/8th ELD students will attend both assemblies.
4. Group 1 Assembly classes – once you take attendance, please proceed to the gym. Please note the seating chart
5. Group 2 Assembly classes – please do not proceed to the gym until you hear an announcement from the office.
6. Shared Teachers (Andrews/Clague), who are not on campus or have block 7 prep, we did not want to leave you out of the groups. J
7. Shared Teachers (Clague/Souza) – since we are on a MODIFIED schedule, we will need have a substitute cover your classes that are being held earlier in the day. Please have sub plans ready.
a. Clague – Sub to High School at 11:30
b. Souza – Assembly Coverage (Your class will be back in the classroom on your regular scheduled block about 2:00 p.m.)
c. 6th grade students teachers will be in Homeroom during the assembly
8. Please have student leave backpacks in class
6th Grade Assembly- Tuesday, Feb 2nd
· Assembly time starts at 1:35.
· Follow normal bell schedule and the assembly will start at the beginning of 6th period and continue through 7th period
· 7th/8th grade choir students go to the conference room for class during 6th period
· 7th/8th grade ELD students go to the library with work and Mr. Contreras
· Ms. Allstedt's 2 – 7th period 7/8 students help in the office as TA’s
