KSD Strategic Plan Public Feedback
Charting the course to ensure all students are Future Ready
Kuna parents, educators, staff, students, and community,
A dedicated team comprised of people like you is updating the strategic plan for the Kuna School District. Their work began in 2019 and was disrupted by the pandemic.
They seek your feedback of their work so far on five areas or "pillars."
This feedback work is introduced in a video by a one of the team's business members and our supporting partner Idaho Business for Education.
Reading entire plans can be daunting so we've chunked this into parts so you may participate at your pace - all at once or in pieces.
We invite you for each pillar or the ones the most important to you:
- Watch the short video (less than 3 minutes)
- Review the Pillar's document (1 to 3 pages)
- Provide feedback (3 questions about the plan, 3 about you)
The opportunity to provide feedback closes on April 30.
The team will review your feedback and make adjustments and complete sections with timelines and detailed implementation steps and provided to the Kuna Board of Trustees for consideration
Thank you for engaging in this work to ensure all Kuna students are empowered to lead productive lives.

Core Beliefs
Learning is maximized when we provide a safe and orderly environment
Families and community are vital and active partners
Educators design instruction to engage and inspire all learners
All students are unique and valued
All students will seek growth in academic and personal skills
All students will be contributing members of society
Future Picture
Every day in every classroom, students receive quality instruction and exhibit personal growth. We provide a safe and inclusive environment that celebrates and supports our diverse student community in their learning needs and desired sense of belonging, so they are able to meet life’s opportunities and challenges in healthy ways with compassion for others. We share responsibility with our community and its leaders. We embrace parents, caregivers, and the community as vital partners in the education and success of all students.
We want KSD to be the place where people choose to work.
Past, present and future: We use a feedback loop to learn from the past, continue to improve, and to direct future innovation.
