McNair Teams Up Against Cancer
Team Faith. Hope. Believe.
The McNair community, led by Kindergarten teacher Katie Kelly, has the opportunity to raise money in honor of our McNair students who have been diagnosed with Leukemia. If her fundraising team, Faith. Hope. Believe., successfully raises $50,000 before June 12th, we will be able to name a Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Research Grant in honor of former McNair student, Joshua Bluestein.
Spirit Week May 26th - May 29th
In Honor of Joshua Bluestein
He peacefully passed away in August 2014 of complications after a 3½ year battle with leukemia. Joshua bravely fought his disease through 2 bone marrow transplants and numerous clinical trials.
He died cancer-free, but his body was too weakened to fight off the continued barrage of complications. Joshua’s beautiful presence and amazing perseverance charmed and amazed all who came to know and love him.
