Lindbergh High School senior Blake Hebert and teammates George Upmeyer & Harry Soell (Kirkwood), and Bryce Nicolay (Oakville) were recognized for their "Contributing with Composting" program initiative. The team believed getting kids involved with composting would be a fun and interactive way to introduce STEAM concepts, while also reducing landfill use, reducing climate change contributors, and creating rich soil that can be used for gardening.
