We invite you to participate in Dinner with 12 Strangers!

Dinner With 12 Strangers is an event series sponsored by the Ohio University Alumni Association. These events provide opportunities to strengthen the OHIO community by connecting students with alumni and faculty. The idea is simple; attend a dinner with students and alumni to share a good meal, good conversation, and a good time. Come to dinner with 12 strangers and leave with 11 new friends!

Dinners are free to all attendees and open to any OHIO student. Sign up fast because we have limited open spots!

Dinner with 12 Strangers: Veteran's Edition

Mike Jackson

Mike Jackson, '68 served 23-years in the United States Air Force and continued his career in Aviation by serving as the Executive Director of the National Aviation Hall of Fame at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. He also served on the Aviation Advisory Board for the School of Aviation at Ohio University.

Michael Logue

Michael Logue, served valiantly during his deployment to Iraq with the famous Lima Company, which spent 210 of their 240-day deployment in combat, but he has remained a stalwart veteran's advocate ever since. Upon his return to OHIO following his tour, he found the Combat Veteran's Club - the first of its kind at OHIO - and served as Veteran's Affairs Commissioner for Student Senate as a member of the Veteran's Support Committee as an undergraduate student. Now a civilian contract specialist at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, he manages client account for national security projects.
