Conferences are scheduled for November 14th (3:30-8:30), 18th (3:30-8:00), and 21st (3:30-8:00). This is a GREAT opportunity for you to hear about where your child is at right now, learn about your child's successes so far, and set goals for the remainder of the year!

Our Franklin Book Fair will also be open during ALL THREE nights of conferences!

NOVEMBER IS BUSY! CHECK OUT OUR NEWSLETTER AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE!

FRANKLIN FALL READ OUT

Monday, Nov. 4th, 6-7pm

Franklin Elementary Gym

Bring a book or books to read, eat a superhero snack, and enjoy a relaxing environment to read with your child! If you'd like, you can bring a flashlight, comfy chair, blanket, pillow, parade chair, etc. to make your experience a little more fun! There will also be a book exchange if you'd like to participate in that as well! You can come and go...stay for as little or as long as you can!

ALL MINUTES COUNT AS DOUBLE ON THE 400 CLUB BOOKMARKS!

WE ARE HEADED TO THE GUTHRIE!

Franklin 5th graders will be traveling to the Guthrie Theatre on November 20 for our annual field trip to watch "A Christmas Carol." Thank you to those who have already turned in their lunch/chaperone forms. As a reminder, they are due on November 7th! We have a lot of parents who are interested in chaperoning and we are only given a certain number of tickets, so we will be holding a drawing. We will notify you if you are chosen to chaperone. Please let us know if you have any questions!!

OUR PTO ROCKS!!

We would love to give a shout out to our Franklin PTO! They made it possible for ALL of our 5th graders to go on a WONDERFUL field trip to Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter to attend the Science and Nature Conference! Some comments we heard our students say about their experience were....'That was the BEST DAY EVER!" "I learned SO MUCH!" "I didn't know science could be so fun!" "Wow, I didn't know there were so many different types of science!" THANK YOU FOR GIVING OUR STUDENTS A LEARNING EXPERIENCE THEY WILL NEVER FORGET!
