Fourth Grade News
Week of January 19 - 22, 2016
Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday
We hope you all had a great long weekend and were able to join in some of the festivities taking place around our city in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. We couldn't have asked for better weather to honor the life of such a great man.
Class Picture and Retakes are this Wednesday!
Just a reminder that our class photo and any retakes of individual photos will be taken this Wednesday morning, so please get your child to school on time to ensure he / she is in the class photo. If you would like to order a class photo, please return the envelope sent home last week, along with a check for $14.00 made payable to Raymar Photography. If you've misplaced the envelope, just send in a check in any envelope with your child's name, grade, and phone number. Photos must be ordered in advance!
4th Grade Play Practice is Underway!
The annual fourth grade play practice is now underway! The students have been assigned their part(s) and have each been given a script. In keeping with our social studies curriculum this year, our play is appropriately called, The American Revolution.
It has been a tradition at St. George's to keep the title of the fourth grade play a secret from the rest of the school community, so please help us continue this tradition by not discussing it with anyone outside fourth grade. Please ask your child about their part in the play. As we get further along in our practice, we will be asking for help in making this year's performance a great success. Thank you in advance for your support.
