Important Announcements for Families & Students
- Midterm Report Cards will be mailed home Friday, 10/9
- There will be a LatinX Heritage ASTEMbly this Thursday, 10/8
- The LA Public Library is offering free College Readiness and Test Prep Workshops! Space is limited so sign up now here: https://www.lapl.org/teens/college-career/get-ready-for-college
- Fill out and return all the re-enrollment forms HERE if you are a 10th, 11th or 12th grader! The first 3 Advisories in each grade level to have 100% of students turn in ALL forms will win a prize for every student in their Advisory! Email forms to sonia.ochoa@lausd.net
- PARENTS - sign up for Parent Portal to see Course zoom links, attendance, assignments, grades and more!

Office Hours and Campus Access
Our staff is available by appointment only. To make an appointment to see us, please call 323-391-4908 and speak to Veronica, Mirna or Sonia.
Teachers & Staff - if you are planning to be on campus for any reason please adhere to the following guidelines:
- Email me and cc the entire office staff including the plant manager Sergio Ibarra at least 24 hours in advance
- If you have been on campus in last 14 days at least once per week, you must get tested for Covid-19 at an LAUSD testing site. Make an appointment here: https://achieve.lausd.net/covidtestingappt
- Wear a mask and maintain at least 6 feet of distance from others
Do you Need a Laptop or a Hotspot? Having Technology Issues?
All students should fill out the Google Form below to let us know of their technology needs. We are getting new laptops to replace the old ones as well as the Chromebooks.

Announcements & Reminders for Teachers
- LAUSD has announced the launch of a Covid-19 Testing and Contact-Tracing Program. Please read details here: https://achieve.lausd.net/covidtesting

- The 9 week grading window CLOSES Thursday, 10/8/2020.
- We will have a virtual site visit from the Harvey Mudd College Friday, 10/9.

- Please make sure you designate Esther, Veronica, Carolyn, Mirna and Sonia as alternative hosts for ALL courses (Advisory included).
- We will have PD on Monday and Friday from 9 am to 9:45 am.
- I'll be stopping by your Advisories and classes for informal observations the remainder of the school-year.
- Take attendance on MiSIS daily within the first 10 minutes of Zoom class and check Schoology Analytics the following day to update attendance by 3pm.
