Principal's Message
Dear Loma and CT Families-
My top 3 highlights from last week:
attending the fabulous Gala--loved seeing all the parent and community support for our students.
cheering on the 6th and 7th grade boys basketball teams in their playoff games.
engaging with the staff during a successful professional development day. I truly have the best team.
Thanks for your partnership

Volunteer Vaccination Status Update
With the September 19, 2022 decision from CDPH regarding lifting the requirement for unvaccinated employees to submit to weekly Covid testing, our District, in collaboration with our union leadership teams, have agreed to lift the Covid testing requirement for unvaccinated volunteers effective October 5, 2022. As always, safety remains our top priority and we will continue to have test kits available for staff, students, and volunteers to use as necessary. In addition, we would continue to stress that should a student, staff member, or volunteer feel ill or have symptoms, please remain away from the school site so that others would not be exposed to any illnesses.
Message from Generations School Photography
Parents should have received an email from Generations Photography. That email had their student's private gallery code to view/order their photos. Please log in to PowerSchool to access your child’s student identification number. If any parent questions arise, please contact Generations help desk at:
NO Summit Store On Fridays
Parents and Students-
The Summit Store has notified the district that effective today, NO students are allowed to be at the store unsupervised (without a parent), especially on Fridays.
The store will revisit this decision in December. In the meantime, please talk with your child (and their friends) about what the expected behavior is when interacting with summit store staff and patrons.
Thanks for your partnership.
Please remind your child that they MUST cross using the bridge and not to run across Summit Road.

BUSES
We encourage you to consider using our school buses to transport your child to and from school to reduce the campus traffic and increase our parking lot safety. Bus pass information is available in both school offices.

We are a PEANUT FREE school district. Please do not send your child to school with peanuts or other peanut products including peanut butter.
We do have some classrooms with students who have life threatening allergies to other nuts. If your child has peers in their classroom with allergies to other nuts, your child’s teacher will inform you that your child’s classroom is a nut free space.
