Hello Parents!
I am so happy to be back at school! We will be picking up where we left off last week since we didn't get very far! Report cards will be sent out on Friday, October 24th. I feel that the students are doing really well and I'm proud of their hard work.

Upcoming Events

October 22nd- Awards Assembly after Chapel
October 26th - Fall Festival 4-6
October 29th- Evergreens Due
October 30th- Field Trip to Sci-Port

We are learning about money in addition to our graphs this week and will be creating a money sorting wallet! We will be learning about coins and their values. Encourage your child to learn more about money by letting them pay for their items at the store!

We learned about the life cycle of pumpkins in week 9. This week we are learning about the parts of a pumpkin. We will read how many seeds in a pumpkin, and will make our predictions of how many seeds are in our class pumpkin. We will then open a pumpkin and explore the parts.

We will be making voter registration cards this week and will be voting on a Class President and and First Lady. The Class President will select a Vice-President. Remember to complete the class president application included in the homework packet by Friday! We are looking for class leaders who are present in class for the most part and who can complete presidential duties as well as complete all class work.
