The TCALC Stakeholder Elevator
Level 1
Serve on a CTE Pathway Advisory Board
Serve as CTE partner, as a consultant
Holds business meeting or conference at TCALC and invites/engages with TCALC students/staff
Is involved in student achievement by attending (student) conferences and other school-sponsored events
Level 2
Guest speaker for a class/pathway
Allows digital pictures and/or digital video of their worksite and staff
Support student achievement through classroom visits
Engages with students through “Reverse Shadowing” (the expert shadows the student in class, assisting and conversing in academic and career oriented content)
Level 3
Guest speaker for the entire school population
Hosts a site visit for students, at the stakeholder’s workplace or work site
Support student achievement through regular involvement in TCALC or other extracurricular (pathway) related activities
Level 4
Engages with a class/pathway, posing a challenge or project, does progress checks and/or follow-up at the completion of the challenge/project
Donations of materials/equipment or financial support, valued at $1-100
Level 5
Participates in one TCALC event (per school year), i.e. mock interview days, one day conferences
Student(s) partakes in a 1-3 day Professional Learning Experience (PLE) Shadow/Observation, at the partner’s site
Donations of materials/equipment or financial support, valued at $100-250
Level 6
Participates in two or more CTE events (per school year)
Student(s) partakes in a 4-10 day Professional Learning Experience (PLE) Observation, at the stakeholders’s site
Donations of materials/equipment or financial support, valued at $250-500
Level 7
Student(s) partakes in a 10-30 day Professional Learning Experience (PLE) Internship, at the stakeholder’s site
Donations of materials/equipment or financial support, valued at $500-1000
Level 8
Student(s) partakes in a one to three month Professional Learning Experience (PLE) Internship, at the stakeholder’s site
Donations of materials/equipment or financial support, valued at $1000 or more
Stakeholder partners with pathway to hold an “intent to hire” contract/opportunity, for completers of the pathway (stipulations can apply)
