HFCS is sponsoring “Create Peace”, a musical presentation by the 3rd Grade Class.

Each student has written an original acrostic poem about peace and these will be read by the students. The music includes an original song by Mrs. Anita Hurst, our music teacher and director called “Balancing Act” about life’s chaos. Then the class hopes to share some comfort with all of you through “In This Reconciliation”, “Live Love”, “Jesus, Jesus (round)”, “Peace is Flowing Like a River”, “Peace”, “Let There Be Peace on Earth” and “Shalom”. The songs will all be accompanied by an original recording by Mrs. Hurst and Mr. Kevin Kerr.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend!!!

Hornet Sports

Softball and Baseball

The Softball game was cancelled on Monday due to the stormy weather. The Lady Hornets played yesterday against SMG and lost by just one point. Come out to the game on Wednesday at 4:30pm here at HFCS and cheer them on!

The Hornets played last Tuesday afternoon with great effort but lost to St. Andrew. The boys play this afternoon at St. Maria Goretti at 4:30pm.

Go Hornets!

Track and Field

What an exciting day this was for all of our middle schoolers! Due to COVID, none of these students have been able to participate in a Track and Field Meet. Many of our students walked away with ribbons!

Way to go, Hornets!
