Attendance

We are getting to that time of year when the weather will start getting warmer and our thoughts start to wander towards outdoor activities. With that in mind, it is probably a good time to review the importance of good school attendance. There is no doubt that a strong correlation exists between student attendance and academic success. Attendance at school is important because students are more likely to succeed in academics when they attend school consistently. It can be very difficult for the student and the class to build their skill and progress if a large number of students are frequently tardy/absent. We expect our students to be on time to school. Being on time is not only a school expectation but also an important life skill.

If your student is going to be late or absent from school for an excused reason, please call the attendance line at 920-262-1485 the same day of the absence and leave a message. Voicemail for this line is monitored diligently. Please contact the school office for more information or if you have questions regarding absences and expectations for students.
