Weekly Updates/ Reminders:
- Achievement Series pre test scores and post test goals should have been gone over with students. Please make sure these charts are posted in your classrooms.
- Teacher Non-Negotiables check list was emailed out last week and a hard copy was placed in teacher mailboxes.
- Lesson plans must be available upon request to any visitor.
- Homework must go home with students on a weekly basis, please make sure that you are sending home ample opportunities for practice and review
- We will do Secret Santa again this year for those who want to participate, if you would like to please make sure you sign up in the staff lounge.
- Students should be on iReady for 45 minutes per week in both ELA and Math, please be reminded that the usage of this program is first priority. If you are using any other programs they should only be utilized supplementary.

Instructional Levers:
- How am I checking for the understanding of ALL students? Exit Tickets?
- During classroom visits we will be looking for the use of Exit Tickets and observing Guided Reading Groups.
- Ensure guided reading groups are planned out for each group in order to meet the individual needs of your students. In order to close the gaps we must ensure we are intentional planning and using data to guide our decisions daily.
- Exit tickets should be logged into master trackers for ELA and Math.
Weekly Behavioral LOOK-FORS:
As Winter Break Approaches we must continue to ensure that we are utilizing every instructional minute through highly engaging lessons. Make sure you take the time to reteach expectations as necessary and continue to hold students accountable for meeting both classroom and school wide expectations.
- Morning Restorative Community Circles implemented with fidelity and as a means to build relationships and classroom community.
- Review over School-wide and Classroom expectations
- Monitor Student behavior by circulating and scanning the classroom
- Catch small behaviors and utilize the Safe Seat set up in our classrooms as a Tier I positive and restorative behavioral lever.
- Provide positive and corrective feedback through restorative conversations with our students.

Shout Outs!
- All Classroom Teacher- Thank you for helping students transition back to school after a significant time off from school. Keeping the focus on learning!
- Mrs. Grossman- Being a support system to our students during their time of need.
- Coach Houck- Helping calm a student when behaviors began to escalate. Thanks for being a helping hand to support our students behavior.
- Mrs. Hewitt and Mr. Winston- Lending a helping hand in the Lunch room during kindergarten lunch time.
- Mrs. Berry, Ms. Miller, Ms. Conrick, Mrs Reeves, and Ms. Egli- For holding down the FRONT LINES and staying after school for a little longer to make sure our students made it home safely.
