As many of you may be aware, we have had an illness cluster in a couple of our Kindergarten classrooms. We closed both classrooms on Friday 09/16/2022 in an effort to prevent further spread. Click HERE for information on the Norovirus and click HERE for information on how to stop the spread.

Kindergarten and 1st grade will no longer be taking the Whole Child Needs assessment this year. If you have any questions, please reach out to our SEL counselor Kellie Turner. kturner@sd27j.net

District wide, student fees have increased this year. Below is a breakdown of district fees and what they cover.

$30 Chromebook fee: Partial cost of providing a Chromebook to all students.

$25 licensing fee: Costs of licensing for all the different apps and software on the Chromebook. Lexia, Seesaw, Dream box, Imagine learning, and Superkidsonline.

$10 Class fee: Helps cover any additional consumables and subscription costs throughout the school year.

*All Fees are available to pay in Infinite Campus and should be paid no later than 10/07/2022*

Our Watch Dog program is looking for Parent Volunteers. Times are flexible, we are just hoping to provide more volunteer security around our campus. Please email Julie Martin at jmartin@sd27j.net for more information.

Our Librarian, Mrs. Maggie Poling is looking for parent volunteers. She would love one parent volunteer per classroom here at Brantner. If you are interested, please contact her at maggie.books.80@gmail.com

Please remember that all students being checked out early must be signed out in the front office by someone with a valid ID. We will check ID every time a student is signed out of the building to ensure student safety. We cannot release a student to anyone who does not have their ID with them.

After 3 weeks back to school and review of our cafeteria space, we unfortunately cannot accommodate family/friends to join our students during their lunch. We know this is disheartening to many of you but we simply do not have the space due to the increased number of students here at Brantner. Families can still drop off lunches for their student/s or check them out and take them to lunch, but we cannot facilitate family/friend lunches here at Brantner at this time.
