Computer Coding in the Media Center!
All students participated in an "Hour of Code" during library media classes this month. Grades 3-5 students worked on modules featuring Minecraft and Star Wars characters to learn the basics of computer programming. K-2 students worked on apps like Kodable and Daisy the Dino to master the basics of programming. During the break, have your child visit the Code.org site to try more computer coding lessons and activities. This site firmly believes that "Every student in every school should have the opportunity to learn computer science." This year's focus is to inspire more girls to learn computer programming. Watch the video below and get inspired!
