hydropower means electricity produced from machines that are run by moving water and how it is renewable is because water is always moving and it never runs out so it can be powered into electricity because its a very strong resource
hydropowered boat
the hydropowered boat is a boat that runs on water this boat has a button on the side of the boat that you can push and when you push it a cup goes down and catches the water then the water will get poured into a pipe which seperates different parts of the water to the engine of the boat to make it start running and the boat is made out of metal the windows are a special type of plastic glass and the seats are made out of waterproof leather and the boat can go up too 150 mph.
disadvantages
1.Although modern planning and design of dams is good, in the past old dams have been known to be breached (the dam gives under the weight of water in the lake). This has led to deaths and flooding.
2. Dams are extremely expensive to build and must be built to a very high standard.
3.People living in villages and towns that are in the valley to be flooded, must move out. This means that they lose their farms and businesses. In some countries, people are forcibly removed so that hydro-power schemes can go ahead.
Advantages
1.once a dam is constucted electricity can be produced a constant rate
2.Dams are designed to last many decades and so can contribute to the generation of electricity for many years / decades.
3.When in use, electricity produced by dam systems do not produce green house gases. They do not pollute the atmospherec
