Welcome Bernadette Knaebel!
Bernadette is filling the long-term substitute position for Ashley Garza. Here is a little bit about her:
My husband, Jay and I are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters, Hillary (25), and Hana (22). Both girls currently live and work in Denver, CO. We are adjusting to being “empty nesters.”
I taught 3rd grade in New Mexico for several years before choosing to stay home to raise my children. We moved around a bit due to my husband’s work, and enjoyed living in Canada for 5 years. I have always stayed very active and current in the school system as a tutor and a substitute teacher. I have especially enjoyed many long term teaching assignments. I take pride in being a valuable service to both the teachers and students.
In my spare time I enjoy traveling, exercising, healthy living, cooking, reading (while snuggling with one of our 3 cats), playing board games, and spending time with my family.
