Elections for the 2023-2024 PTO Executive Board will be held on May 23, 2023 at our general assembly meeting. The following positions are up for election: President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary.

If you would like to be part of a great team, please complete the nomination form on our website and return it to school with your child or email it to richeypto@gmail.com by April 24, 2023.

Families, please make sure that you are not blocking driveways or sidewalks while dropping off your child and picking them up after school.

For drop-off only: In order to ensure was have parking for our staff, do not park and wait out front with your child. Please park on the street and walk your child to school. We appreciate your support in this matter.

We will have state testing for our students in grades 3rd-5th. May 2nd, May 4th, May 9th, May 11th, and May 17th will be testing days for our students.

It is very important that our students are on time for school. Once the testing starts in a classroom a student may not enter the classroom late when state testing is going on.

Please make sure that your children are getting to bed on time to ensure they are well-rested for the assessment.

Please remind your children to take their time on the assessment. We are excited to see all the knowledge that they have learned this school year.

Mark your calendars. The Richey PTO is having a Glow Dance on Thursday, April 27 from 6 pm-8 pm. Parents you must stay at the dance. This is not a drop-off event.

We do not celebrate individual birthdays with food. Please do not send in cakes, cupcakes, candy, etc. This also goes for store-bought items. If you would like to send in a small gift (Pencil, Sticker, eraser, etc) for the student to give out that could be accommodated. Thank you.

You will find information on how to contact agencies for food assistance, emergency housing, utility assistance, outpatient counseling, crisis hotline numbers, Second Step program codes, and also included are parenting tip sheets and activities. Snacks will be available on days that we have pizza. These snacks are not free. Below are directions on how to put money in your child's account is below. Snacks range from 75 cents to a dollar.
