Spotlight on ROADTRIP NATION: Naviance Feature Helps Students Find Their Direction
When you're 16, 17, or 18 years old, trying to determine a career path to pursue can be a challenging task. Fortunately, Naviance offers the Roadtrip Nation tool for career exploration. Created to assist students in identifying their interests, values, and ambitions, Roadtrip Nation provides exposure to different occupations/professions through its extensive interview archives.
SENIORS: Plan Ahead for College Application Deadlines
Typically, your transcript requests are sent electronically within a day of your request in Naviance. However, if you plan to apply to college over Winter Break, your transcript will not be sent out until January 2 when we return to school. If all of your documents are required by January 1, you need to apply by December 15, so that you can request your transcript in Naviance to be sent out during the week of December 17-21, after you've submitted your application. For most schools, you must submit your application by the deadline - your transcripts and letters of recommendation can be sent after you've applied.
SENIORS: National Scholarship Links
You can also use the national scholarship feature in Naviance - under the 'Colleges' tab, select 'Scholarships and Money', then select 'National Scholarship Search'.
