Upcoming Fundraiser for Whiting Lane Learning Gardens

Our gardens are in dire need of some repair. BOY SCOUTS to the RESCUE! Desmond NIgol-Mason, Eagle Scout candidate, is going to REBUILD the gardens! We are so lucky! But we need some funds! So, we are having a SAVERS DONATION DRIVE! Simply bring any

  • clothes, shoes, linens, towels, accessories
  • small electrical items,
  • kids games, puzzles, stuffed animals,
  • kitchenware, knick knacks, media and sports equipment
in bags or boxes to Whiting Lane School between the dates of March 29th and April 8, 2016. The Scouts will be assisting us in collecting and delivering the items to Savers. We will be paid by the pound for these items. We hope to raise enough to build 6 - 8 new beds, purchase new hoses, walking path material and a FENCE to put around our entire garden space.
If you are interested in assisting in this event or the garden rebuild, please contact Lee_Gluck@whps.org or Deb_Mason@whps.org.
