A Message from Principal Blair
JMS Families,
On Tuesday of last week, we welcomed Rising 6th grade families to JMS as we introduced new courses and discussed the transition into middle school. Wednesday and Friday, we visited all 5th grade classrooms at JES and IGO for individual scheduling. Students selected their preferred courses and will need to return a signed copy to their 5th grade teacher.
This week we will complete scheduling with current 6th and 7th Grade students at JMS. Parents, be sure to review your child's selections, sign, and return a copy to the front office. Our counselors will be entering selections this week.
The 2nd Round of STAAR Interim testing begins this week! 8th Grade students will take the Social Studies and Science Interim on Wednesday and Thursday. We will have a modified schedule for both days. Be sure to send your child with a snack and water bottle as lunches will be delayed so as not to disturb testing.
JISD campuses will re-open to visitors beginning tomorrow.
