Principal's Message
All of our students received their report cards, MAP scores and our eighth grade students received the PSAT results as well. This week is very busy for both Carver and CCPS. Our Superintendent's budget proposal will move forward to the Board of Supervisor's this week. Your support of the budget will be tremendously appreciated. Please see the link below to sign the petition.
Core values assemblies will be combined with our Honor Roll assemblies this Thursday. The parents of Honor roll recipients will receive a phone call from me along with the invitation.
We will kick-off our Spring Fundraiser this wee to continue to raise funds for literacy at Carver MS. Thus far we have collected over 1,000 books for Carver MS. Your support with candy bar sales will be tremendously appreciated.
Also, school is closed tomorrow for a student and staff Holiday.
Thank you very much and have a great week Carver MS!

Message from Nurse Natalie
Seasonal Flu is wide-spread in VA. Please remember students should not be in school if they have a temperature of 100 F or greater. Please keep your child home until the fever is gone for 24 hours without medication. During influenza season, children with a fever and other flu-like symptoms may be asked to stay home longer. Fever may be a sign of a more serious problem. Seek medical advice for fever lasting longer than 3 days.
The best protection against the Flu is good hand hygiene, it is not too late to get a flu shot if you have not already, avoid contact with sick people and stay home when you have a fever or feel ill.
Thank you for continuing to follow CCPS Sick Day guidelines.
Wishing you a happy and Healthy week.
