Keeping the Crew up to Date! Volume 1 Issue 36 - 5/22/22
Greetings Clipper Nation!
Our seniors who attended prom looked great, and they seemed like they had a wonderful time. Seniors now have just two more days of school, and graduation will take place on Wednesday, June 1st at 3:30. To accommodate our 3:30 graduation, JMB will have a three-hour early dismissal day on June 1st.
Maryland MCAP and HSA testing will be occurring this coming week. Students taking Algebra I, Government, English 10, and/or Biology will be testing in those respective classes Monday 5/23 through Thursday 5/26. Each assessment has four units so students will complete 1 unit each day for 4 days. Please be reminded that Maryland State Assessments are graduation requirements so please make attendance a priority this week. Also, testers should make sure to bring a fully charged school-issued laptop and their charger for testing.
Again, just a remind that students must complete their MCAP and HSA testing as part of their graduation requirement. As a result, if you need to pick up your student, we ask that you avoid the time when they will be testing. This will limit the disruption to your student as well as other students in the testing session.
Class advisors for the class of 2024 and 2025 are looking for input from parents. Please take a minute to respond to the links in the message.

How do I Stay in the Know?
The best way to stay in the know is to make sure we have accurate information on file. Please look over all the information on the Student Personal Data and Enrollment Information Form as this is the information we currently have on file for you. Make any corrections to the form in blue. If you need additional space for emergency contact use a separate sheet of paper. Sign the back of the form and return it to the school. If you prefer to fill out a new form you can find a copy on our website.
