NEWS FROM THE NEST
Newsletter from Audubon Park School K8
APS Parents, Community Members, Teachers and Staff,
I'd like to congratulate our APS Chorus, Music group and Percussion group for a beautiful Winter Concert. Mr. Chad Walters is an amazing director and we enjoyed every song, every dance, every special detail of this program. So much talent on that stage!
I am looking forward to the Middle School Band & Orchestra Winter Concert (including 5th Grade Orchestra Debut), THIS Tuesday, December 17th at 6:30 p.m. in the gymnasium led by Director, Mr. Munera. Join us to support the Arts at APSK8 and celebrate the holiday season ahead.
A gift arrived to our school last week purchased by our APSK8 Falcon Fund. The unveiling will take place at our first home basketball game. Can you guess what it is? It's not a lamp, that's for sure. Come to the 1st basketball game to check it out and see for yourself. See photo below.
Thank you to all Falcon Fund donors who continue to give, so APSK8 can be a State of the Art School of Innovation and Educational Excellence.
Looking forward to this last week of school before we take time off to enjoy Winter Break returning January 6, 2020.
Thank you for your continued support.
THANK YOU FALCON FUND!
Come to the 1st home basketball game for the unveiling of what's inside!

APS College & Career Fair
APS is holding its 1st College and Career Fair for our middle school students on January 14th from 8:40-10:20 AM. Students will use this time to meet with professionals working in a variety of career paths to find a path that ignites excitement for their future.
We can't hold this event without your support though. We are looking for different career professions to come and show off what they do. We are looking for jobs that are trade certified to college graduates; and all in-between. We would like to have a variety of careers represented to allow our students to explore all options available to them. If you would like to come and show off what you do, please sign up using the link below.
For more information, please feel free to contact Michelle Johnson at email@example.com .
