The Flying Man By Mike Downs
This picture book format biography describes the life of Otto Lilienthal, who along with his brother, and many years of trial and error, eventually built a glider that could fly. His story influenced other early aviators.
In Every Life By Marla Frazee
This luminous picture book focuses on the many blessings in life. A great read aloud, or story for when someone is having a hard time seeing the good.
The Bird Book by Steve Jenkins and Robin Page
A fantastic nonfiction book that focuses on birds, and a variety of facts about them, paired with excellent illustrations.
