How long does it take for the Earth to rotate around the Sun?
The Earth takes about 365 days to orbit around the Sun. Also, that many days equals 1 year or 12 months. Overall, it takes approximatly 365 days, 1 year or 12 months. So the Earth is always rotating around the Sun. Other planets take even long than Earth. Like Uranus, it takes 84 years (earth year) to rotate around the Sun.
The beginning of Uranus
In 1781 William Herschel discovered Uranus with a telescope, it was the first ever planet to be found with a telescope. Uranus was named after the God of the sky. Also, he was the king of all Gods until Saturn overthrew. It would take 1 year for the astronaut to fly to Uranus so that's why we use statellites to study gas planets. They're really far away!
The continuation about Uranus
Uranus was the farther of Saturn and Jupiter is the grandson of Uranus. Out of all the planet in our solar system Uranus is different because when it rotates around the Sun, it actully has tilts on its side. Voyager 2 was studying the gas planets, it took so pictures of Uranus and that's how we discovered so many things about Uranus. This planet has 27 moons and 5 of them are larger than the others. All the gas giants besides Uranus give off more heat that the receive from the Sun but Uranus does the complete opposite.
Uranus's magnetic field
Uranus gives off radio signal, it was discovered be Voyager 2. The signals show that the planet has magnetic fields, it traps particles floating around space. The magnetic fields has charged particles that can form radiation belts.
