Important Dates
November 19th-Monster Literacy Night in the Library 6-7 p.m.
*Enjoy monster snack bags, monster crafts, a photo booth and a special read aloud. The Scholastic Book Fair will be open on this special evening.
November 20th-Class Feast starting at 10:30 a.m.
*If you are planning on leaving after the feast, please sign out in the front office.
November 23rd-27th-Thanksgiving Break/No School
Book Orders
The November catalog will be available to order from until the 30th. Place an order online and it will be shipped to the school.

All dads and other positive male role models are encouraged to volunteer a day of their time at school. Please let me know if you would like more information about this program!
Daily 5
Your children are now working independently for 15 minutes during our Daily 5 stations! I'm so proud of how much growth I'm seeing!
What are we learning?
Reading- We are learning to back up and reread to help with comprehension.
*Making new words my adding or deleting a letter.
Writing-We will continue our work with writing true stories and students will practice rereading their stories to make sure it makes sense.
Math- Modeling the action of joining for addition and separating for subtraction.
Social Studies- History and traditions of Thanksgiving.
