The first Monday of every October is World Day of Bullying Prevention™!

On this day students, schools, and communities all over the world go BLUE together against bullying. It also kicks off National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month every October.

Let's join in solidarity to stop bullying and cyberbullying by wearing blue on October 5, 2020!

The Peer Counseling team has launched our virtual tutoring services on Tuesday, September 29th! Tutoring will be offered virtually via zoom on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 3:30 – 4:30 pm. If you are interested in getting additional afterschool support you can sign up here:

Parent Academy

Parent Academy is a one-stop shop where parents can learn about the numerous educational technology tools that teachers are using with students in their classrooms. These resources will make it easier for parents to understand how teachers engage students in meaningful ways in a virtual environment that highlights student collaboration.

Sign up for our Virtual College Visits in SCOIR. For instructions on how to sign up for College Visits in SCOIR, click here or watch the video below.
Student - Visits & Deadlines

How do I log in to SCOIR?

Students can type in scoir.com or click the link to arrive at the SCOIR homepage. Once there, click on the blue "Login" button at the top right of the screen. If students already have an account, enter the appropriate credentials and sign in. If students do not have a login, they can create one by clicking "Don't have an account?" at the bottom of the login screen. This will take students through a step-by-step process to set up an account.

SCOIR: Our new college & career platform

SCOIR is the new one-stop online system that provides students with college and career planning tools to use during their time at Westview. Please note that SCOIR will be replacing our current system, Naviance, for our 9th - 11th grade students. 12th graders will continue using Naviance this school year; however, they will use SCOIR to sign up for college visits.

College & Career Updates

UC for You for California first-year students (Virtual Event)

Saturday, Oct. 3rd, 10am-1pm

This is an online event.


The UC for You events are intended to help students and families who will be applying this fall get to know the nine undergraduate campuses. These events are an excellent opportunity to ask questions about the admission selection, majors, pre-professional programs, and more.

There is no fee, and each event has a maximum capacity of 3,000 attendees.

CSU Week

23 Campuses | 1 Week. Each campus will present a short live session to provide a campus overview, information about the admission process and a question and answer portion. If you are not able to attend, all sessions will be recorded.

PUSD College and Career Night

This event consists of live and pre-recorded presentations on a variety of college and career topics. Presentations are being given by our own PUSD counselors and students, a diverse group of college admissions counselors from across the country, and a few community based organizations. All live sessions will be recorded and available after the event.

UC for You: UC Wants U! (Virtual Event)

Saturday, Oct. 24th, 10am-12pm

This is an online event.


Students, parents, UC faculty and staff will share their experiences and insight on opportunities and options for students in the African-American, Native American, and ChicanX/LatinX communities on our campuses.


The session will end with a live Q&A. This session is intended for students and their parents interested in learning about how UC campus's academic and affinity resource centers support and strengthen the history, culture and well-being of students of color.
