PATHS Meeting
Parents and Teachers of Humanitas Students
PATHS (Parents and Teachers of Humanitas Students) is our magnet parent committee.
We know that students do their best when their parents and teachers are on the same team. PATHS gives parents and teachers an opportunity to plan for success. We will cover topics such as planning for graduation and college, study skills, curriculum, field trips, and fund raising. If you have a topic you'd like to suggest, please email Ms. Kommer. amc8418@lausd.net
On October 8, 2019, PATHS will discuss "Dual enrollment in Los Angeles Valley College classes."
Did you know that 2/3 of our students are currently enrolled in a class at LAVC? This includes almost all of our 9th graders.
We invite you to meet with our magnet coordinator, our magnet counselor, and some of our teachers to discuss expectations of students, selecting classes, earning college credit, and how you can support your child.
If your child is a 9th grader taking their first college class, or if your child is enrolled in the zero period Communications I class, we highly encourage your attendance.
October 8th at 6:00 PM in the Grant High School library
