#LoveMySchoolDay
We've talked a lot this year about showcasing all the positive things happening at OSE in order to do our part to change the narrative that surrounds public schools. When we share the greatness, we erase the negativity around schools. So on Wednesday, I challenge you to use these tips to post and share why you love OSE and why you loev what you do every day!
- Use the #LoveMySchoolDay hashtag in all your posts.
- Tag your legislators, school leaders, colleagues, and others to your posts and/or images.
- Use pictures and video as these increase your post engagement and interactions.
- Share or Retweet great stories that you see on the hashtag - this keeps the story going!
Let's see if we can "break the internet" on #LoveMySchoolDay
Attendance
Just a reminder that the window to take attendance is from 8:50 - 9:10. When you take your attendance, it should reflect which students are in their seats at 9:00. This means it is possible to have students come in after you have taken attendance and counted them absent. Reshma will make any necessary changes, as she will have checked them in at the office to admit them to class. In some rare instances, you may forget to take your attendance during the window (GASP!) and have a student come into class after 9:10. In this case, you would not count the student present as he/she was not in his/her seat at 9:00. Again, Reshma would be the one to make any necessary changes. If you have any questions about attendance, please be sure to ask Reshma for clarification.
