LaPerche Nurse News ALERT

JUNE, 2018 END of YEAR Medication Pickup, etc!

MEDICATION pick-up ALERT

If your child has medication stored at school, please contact Mrs. Forte to arrange pick up. We are unable to store medications in school over the summer.
Just a reminder: Students need a physician's signed permission order on file to carry medications during school hours.
All medication orders must be renewed each school year.

Emergency Medications: Care Plans, Asthma Action Plans, and doctors orders need to be reviewed over the summer by physicians and parents. Please contact Mrs. Forte to pick your child's plans and medications before the end of the school year.

Reminder: Please send Mrs. Forte results of any Vision or Hearing exams.

If you received a vision or hearing screening referral this school year, please send Mrs. Forte the results of the comprehensive exam. Notices have gone out earlier this year. If your child has an upcoming appointment, please notify Mrs. Forte so she can be on the lookout for the results.

Continue with weekly head lice checks during the summer months.

Continue with the "each week, take a peak" to monitor and treat for head lice. The best way to prevent the spread of head lice is to be knowledgeable on the latest best practices. Please know we have a district brochure with valuable information that you will find with the latest information.
