7th Grade - Carowinds Trip

The kids were amazing! Their behavior and actions were exemplary. We barely even had to ask for help before kids were up completing the task. All groups were on time for every requested gathering. They participated with enthusiasm at the science activities. Our bus driver, out of the blue, said this group of kids was incredible. They personified the NCLA standards and spirit. We are very proud of them.SENIOR MEETING

SCRIP - Help School
Email scrip@thencla.org TODAY to get started.
What is SCRIP?
SCRIPT is a way to help the school by doing something you do already!
Signing up to SCRIP, you will order gift cards to stores or for gifts that you already use or will buy. For example, if you buy a $10 gift card to Starbucks. You will pay $10 for it but the school(PTO) will receive a $1 as well. Costing you no more than the face value.
Some stores have higher rebates than others. There are hundreds of vendors to choose from. Some of the gift cards and be downloaded immediately and printed off.
Click HERE for link to PTO and information about SCRIPT.Money Matters Competition
The "Money Makers" whose members are Ashley Sodt, Jonte Johnson, Sadie Ross, Hannah Ross, and Natalie Peters, celebrated a 10th place win out of 134 competitors in the national Stock Market Game competition. The teams were given $100,000 to invest in companies that are publicly traded on the stock market. They worked hard for two months learning about stocks, trading, and assessing companies for value and potential investment.
Congratulations for your success in our first year of competing! - Ms. Blaya
