Panther News

This Week at the Creek

  • HELP we are having a problem with students coming to school with a NOT charged laptop. Please ensure that your student charges their laptop every night.
  • The last day for any late assignments will be June 1st. There will be no exceptions.
  • Student computers and chargers will be left at school beginning on Friday, May 27th. Students will need to ensure that both the charger and laptop are at school on Friday.
  • Be sure to write down the EOC dates for the end of the year. June 1 is Math, June 2 is ELA, and June 3 is 8th grade Science.
  • Grade Levels will need donations of bottles of water, freezer pops, and individually wrapped snacks for the last days of school. If you would like to donate please bring the item(s) to school and label it for the grade level. Thank you in advance for your donation.

Promotion Guidelines

PLEASE keep in mind and discuss with your student that it is very important that they do their absolute best this last 9 weeks and on the EOG's. A student's final grade for the year and performance on the EOG's will be used for placement at the high school. Students should strive to challenge themselves going into high school as this starts their journey towards college, their career, or even the military.

Students must pass:

ELA

Math

Science or Social Studies

and a year-long of ENCORE

8th grade activities

Our 8th grade teachers are planning "fun" activities for our students on June 6th and 7th. One of the activities will be a dance that is just for our 8th grade but during the school day.
