Breif Notes
- Inter Library Loans: use 5 Systems for all school to school ILLs; if borrowing from other libraries (Public, Academic, etc) send the request through Sharon at the SLS office
- Databases: New this year SLS purchased Biography in Context and U.S. History in Context for all schools
- Databases: All your databases can be accessed through your DPS Portal (one password to access them all!); if you need help with this or need something changed contact Kate or Ryan at SLS
- NYLA/SSL: Kate will be sending a survey about SLS potentially paying for librarians' membership to NYLA/SSL- be sure to respond with your preference
- NYLA/SSL: Michelle Miller is the president elect - feel free to contact her with any questions, concerns, ideas
- RASL: (Rochester Area School Librarians) membership is just $5; Joan Leonard is president and Stephanie Post is very involved- feel free to contact them with any questions
- eBooks: SLS purchased several titles for all schools to access; check them out and share with your staff

- Video Tutorials: you can request a free account through rrlc to lynda.com, which has tutorials on a variety of topics (http://rrlc.org/training/lynda/)
- Class Materials: available on the website even if you don't go to the class
