Jobs Available for Our Growing School
If you have a ready smile and love to serve, we could use more help in our hot lunch program, too. We need staffing for both Mondays and Fridays -with a workday that is 8 am to 2 pm. This is another great opportunity to be part of the life of our school – interacting with the cafeteria staff, the school faculty, and the students.
If interested in a position posted here, contact the school principal, Thomas Wrege – at Thomas.wrege@zionwalburg.org to chat about the aides position, or cafeteria manager Heather Faske at heather.faske@zionwalburg.org, or call the school office at 512.863.5345 for either.

The Talk
Zion is bringing in Guest Speaker Mandy Majors, author of the book, "The Talk", and founder of nextTalk. She will be joining us to talk about the following:
● How do we keep our kids safe online?
● Are filters and restrictions enough?
● How do I keep up with all the different apps?
She will talk about the new problem we face, a solution that works and practical ideas on how to implement the solution. If your child has access to a smart phone, the internet or a computer, then you won’t want to miss this! The TALK is a free event for every adult in the community interested in the online safety and well being of children of all ages. Please invite your friends and neighbors - it’s great for grandparents to hear as well!
Visit www.nextTalk.org to learn more about the nextTalk mission and resources. Here is a short 4-min promo video with more information. This is an adults only event. We hope you will join us!
"We help families, churches and schools create a culture of real conversation. No topic is off-limits. This keeps our kids safe in the digital world." ~Mandy Majors
