Farmers, mostly poor, produce enough crops to feed their immediate family. little to none is sold for profit.

Cottage Industries

Goods are hand made in homes or small workshops to be sold locally or used by the family.

Commercial Agriculture

Crops are grown on a large scale and are intended to be sold.

Commercial Industries

Products are mass-produced in a factory to sell to consumers or other companies.
