Week 4: September 7-11

Book Fees

Parents can view book fees on Skyward now. Payments are due September 15th. Make checks payable to TCE and note it is for book fees. Or families can use the eFunds payment option in Skyward. It takes about 10 days to post book fee payments on the Skyward account. Families interested in the Free/Reduced program must apply each year. For more information about Free/Reduced program which covers cafeteria and book fee assistance, please review your child’s 1st Day Folder. If you have questions about the Free/Reduced program, please contact Pat Lines in the TCE office.

TCE School Directory

The online school directory is now available to all families in Skyward. This year the directory is based on an opt-in model. Families must choose to show their contact information in order to be visible in the directory.

To opt-in, click on "My Account" in the upper right corner of your Family Access account. From there, check the boxes for the information you wish to make visible under the School Directory section and then Save. Families can make changes to this section anytime throughout the school year

Pasta Bowl 2015

TCE Cardinals, starting gathering boxes of pasta! In conjunction with Mudsock Week, the Hamilton Southeastern Schools Foundation launches Pasta Bowl 2015 on Tuesday, 9/1. Let's make sure we bring home the trophy for the most pasta collected in the district at the elementary level! Send any type of pasta with your students Sept 1-Sept 11. A pasta drop box can be found in front of the main office. Thank you for helping to stock area pantries!

Snack Attack Snack Drive

Snack Attack provides TCE students in need with a sack of healthy snacks to take home on Fridays to help them through the weekend until they can return to school on Monday for a hot meal.

Our Dad’s Club is sponsoring our Snack Drive starting Monday, Aug 24th. Please consider donating individually wrapped snack items. Bins will be located outside of the school office. Suggested items include: granola bars, pudding, popcorn, fruit cups, crackers, etc.

If your child is in need and would appreciate receiving these weekly bags of snacks, please contact our school counselor, Mrs. Jackie Fiesbeck, at 594-4310 or jfiesbeck@hse.k12.in.us. The recipients of Snack Attack remain confidential.

It’s a great day to be a Cardinal and support our students! Thank you for considering a donation of a snack item to our Snack Drive!
