John Adams Elementary School
A Message from Mrs. Free
Parents of 4th and 5th Grade Students
The Tennessee Department of Education and its testing vendor Questar recently released the student reports for the 2018 spring administration of the TNReady Assessment. The TNReady Assessment includes Achievement Testing in grades 3-8, high school End-of-Course Tests, and alternative testing. Parents and guardians will receive Individual Student Reports (ISRs) for the tested subjects of English/ Language Arts, Mathematics, and Social Studies along with Individual Profile Reports (IPRs) in Science. Due to the condensed version of the Science test in grades 3-4 along with the change in academic standards, parents and guardians will not receive IPRs in Science for those particular grades.
Kingsport City Schools (KCS) is releasing all student reports to parents and guardians on Monday, September 10. These will be handed out to students at the end of the day. In addition, parents and guardians will receive a booklet that assists with interpreting the information contained on the ISRs and IPRs.
If you have any questions related to the reports, please contact an administrator at your child’s school. Questions may also be directed to Mr. Michael Hubbard, KCS district testing coordinator. Thank you for your time and attention.
