Dear Families,

There is a lot going on in school, but nothing new to add in the newsletter for this week. Next week be on the look out for more information on 6th and 7th grade forecasting.

  • May 23: Band Concert @ Barlow HS, 7 PM

  • May 23: 5th Grade Visitations, Hogan Cedars 9:30 AM, East Orient 10:45 AM

  • May 26: 5th Grade Parent Night, 5:30 PM

  • May 27: Student of the Month Pizza Party

  • May 30: Memorial Day, No School

  • May 31: Bullwinkles Field Trip, 8th Grade Band

8th Grade End-of-Year Activities

Dear Families,

Track & Field Information

Middle school track season runs from March 28 through May 17.

If you would like to volunteer, you WILL need a background check which is good for 2 years. The application is on our WOMS homepage as well as on the District homepage. It will take up to 2 weeks to process and then you will want to call the office to see if it has been approved.

Homework Club Update

The last day for Homework Club is Tuesday, May 17.


Homework club is an after school study hall for students who need time and support to catch up on school work on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:40-4:40 PM.


Parent pickup only. There will be no activity bus available.

Canvas Resources for Student & Parents

The Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) is used by our teachers as an extension to in-class instruction. Teachers using Canvas can post assignments, give feedback, and communicate with students. If your child is absent from school, they should go to their teacher's Canvas page where daily assignments will be posted with instructions. If you or your child has a question about a specific assignment, please email the teacher.
