Yearbook
YEARBOOK NEEDS YOUR PICTURES!!!
Yearbook will be accepting pictures until Monday, April 8th. I am looking for pictures from all school events like the first day of school, Back to School BBQ, MOVE IT, Art Literacy, Reflections, Spelling Bee, STEM Night, School Choir, etc.! Please email pictures to sarahbsly@gmail.com with the event and/or teacher's name. If you have NOT ordered a school yearbook, you should have received a flyer from Lifetouch to order one. If you have already ordered a yearbook, you will NOT be receiving a flyer. If you received a flyer and believe you have already ordered a yearbook please get in contact with myself or the McMillan PTA at mcmillanmightymites@gmail.com. I will not be ordering as many yearbooks this year to purchase the last week of school, so in order to guarantee a yearbook for your child/ren, please pre-order it. THANK YOU!
Teacher Appreciation Week
Teacher appreciation week is coming up and we want to make it a memorable week to show our teachers how grateful we are for all they do. We have a few things you can do ahead to prepare for the week and make it extra special for your child’s teacher.
Monday, May 6th - bring an item to donate from your teacher’s classroom supply list
Tuesday, May 7th - bring a letter from your child to their teacher
Wednesday, May 8th - have your child draw a picture for their teacher
Thursday, May 9th - fold origami to give to your teacher
Friday, May 10th - bring a poem you wrote for your teacher
We are doing a travel theme and would love any postcards/notes/letters from former students written to their beloved elementary teachers. Contact nataliekstoddard@yahoo.com to arrange to have those picked up.
We will also be sending out an emails with signups to help with food, recess duty and crafts to help this week be extra special. Put it on your calendars!
Thank you!

Principal's Points
It’s hard to believe we’re starting our final term of the school year. That means it’s time to start thinking about next year. The Murray City School District believes that through partnering with parents we are able to achieve the very best outcomes for students. With this in mind, we invite parents to notify the school of any special considerations and input regarding classroom placement for the 2019-2020 school year. Additional information about this and the form you will need to complete, due April 30, is available in the school office during the month of April.
Just FYI, teacher placements and number of classes will be as follows:
